The Reedy Band was established in 2015 with the opening of Rick Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas. Our first students came to us from successful band programs at Cobb, Pioneer Heritage, and Griffin Middle Schools, as well as Frisco and Wakeland High Schools. In our inaugural year, our marching band received unanimous "Superior" First Division ratings as a UIL 4A Non-Varsity band. During the 2019 marching season, the Reedy Band was selected to compete at the UIL Area B Finals for the first time ever and placed 9th.
